Bottled water is a huge con, a product of fantastic marketing. We have some of the best quality drinking water in the world coming out of our taps and its virtually free. The bottles are just more packaging to be discarded by a disposable society and the fact that bottled water is not questioned more is a poor reflection on our environmental credentials. If you come into Detour we’ll give you a glass of water for free and we will continue to fill it up until you ask us to stop. Just so you don’t have to buy a plastic bottle.

Just a heads up on Nestle. Not only do they control a large proportion of the worlds food supply but they are a major user of palm oil in their products. Palm oil has been a major contributor to rain forest destruction in south east asia due to the clearing of land in order to plant the crop. If you want to eat chocolate Cadbury has been proven to use far less palm oil
Thanks.

“Last century we tried godlessness on a grand scale and the effects were devastating: Nazism, Stalinism, Pol Pot-ery, mass murder, abortion and broken relationships – all promoted by state-imposed atheism,” he said(SMH 02/04/10 Bishop Anthony Fisher).
Mr Fisher I will give you Stalinism but Nazism used religion as a form of control as it has been used in the past and continues to be used today.
I give you exhibit “A”. The WW2 German soldiers wore belt buckles which read “Got mit uns” which translates “God with us”.
I don’t understand why the church feels the need to attack people who don’t share their views on Easter instead of celebrating their deity. I would also put it to the bishop that these atrocities perpetrated by so called godlessness occurred during times where religion was also present.
Bishop Anthony Fisher appears to be ignorant and lacking in objectivity and only perpetuates the perception that this is the essence of organised religion.
I am not an atheist but my beliefs are are my own and I think people should keep there beliefs to themselves.
I am aware of the irony of that statement .
Thanks.
